On the first day of Christmas the children of Allonby school held a Christingle service .
To find out what happened next, there is a Christmas tree exhibition at Christ Church in Allonby held around the theme of the 12 Days of Christmas song.
The Christingle service last week was led by the Rev Mary Day and gave the public the first chance to see the trees. These were made by local organisations and individuals.
Surrounded by this festive greenery, children, parents, grandparents and friends joined in the service.
The tree festival was open last weekend. Because of its popularity it will be open again next Sunday, December 16, from 2pm to 4pm.
