A LIFE-SAVING defibrillator has been donated to villagers living in Eskdale.
It has been installed and is available for anyone to use at Eskdale Green.
Bev Lofthouse, secretary for the Sellafield Contractors Group Charity Committee, said: “We are really pleased to be able to support such a good cause, one that could literally be life saving.”
Alan Vicars, a member of Eskdale Parish Council, said: “We sincerely thank the committee for agreeing to fully fund the purchase of this equipment.
“We would also like to thank the Lake District National Park Authority for agreeing to have the equipment mounted on the wall of their property in the village and for installing it for us free of charge.”
