A woman who committed assault after being given a suspended sentence for a similar offence has found herself back in court.
Janice Stansfield, 62, of Beeby Street, Workington, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in the town.
She pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in Workington on December 1.
She also admitted breaching a 12-month suspended sentence order which was imposed on December 14, 2017 for an offence of a
assault.
Stansfield was fined £160, £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
The suspended sentence was not imposed because the court heard Stansfield had otherwise complied with the order and had made positive progress.
