A MAN has been jailed for 21 months after admitting a string of sex crimes.

Antony Marek Bar, 58, of King Street, Aspatria, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault, one charge of attempted sexual assault, two counts of exposure, two charges of voyeurism and one count of inciting a child to engage in a sexual act when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.

He was also made subject to a sexual harm prevention order.

Speaking after the sentencing, Detective Inspector Matthew Scott said: “We take all reports of sexual offences seriously and work hard to do our best for all victims of such crimes.”

The sentencing took place last Friday (December 14).
