Committing a public order offence in his home town landed a Maryport man with a court bill.
Graham Langcake, 42, of Queen Street, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington.
The court heard that, on September 7 last year, Langcake used threatening or abusive words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, in the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
Langcake pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was fined £80, £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
