Four goals from both Jordan Hawthorne and Calvin Feeney ensured Pack Horse stayed on top of the Workington Sunday League premier division with a convincing win over Sun Inn at the weekend.

The Pack were dominant in the encounter, outscoring their hosts by 10 goals to one, with Liam McCullough putting the remaining two scores in the back of the net. Shaun Smith scored Sun Inn’s consolation.

It was much tighter when Dearham hosted Northside, with the two sides deadlocked at the final whistle on 2-2 with no quarter being given.

Craig Rule and Steven Stoddart scored for Dearham with Steff Scott and Kyle Graham replying for Northside.

Seaton Royal Oak moved on to level points with second placed Deer Orchard in one of the most anticipated games this week.

The Oak edged their rivals out 2-1 thanks to goals from Steve Maxwell and Kyle Teasdale.

The lone score from Deer Orchard was an own goal.

Senhouse Street Club beat hosts Waverley 3-2 with Scott West, Mike Kilgour and Adam Hodgson all finding the back of the net.

Bottom of the league Waverley were unlucky not to get a share of the spoils after hitting back with goals for Dean Anderson and Antony Zajac.

In division one, Maryport Labour Club had a 9-1 victory over next to the bottom Highfield Regulators.

Dean Scholey bagged a brace for Labour Club with further scores for Ethan Costin, Ethan Weir, Josh Gartland, Reece Rogerson, Cameron Moir, Cameron Carter and David Miller.

Harry Braithwaite replied for the visitors.

Division one leaders Red House had a 4-0 win over bottom side Sun Inn Athletic with Jack Wilson, Anthony Hilland and Gary O’Driscoll all getting on the scoresheet.

And in the final game third placed Maryport United lost out to Soul Suite 3-1 allowing the side just below them to close the gap in the league.

Michael Carruthers got the lone consolation for United with James McDonald, Lee Sharpe and Ryan O’Pray all on target for Soul Suite.
