A pan caught fire at a house in Workington.
Firefighters were called to the property in Ashfield Gardens just after 7pm on Friday night.
The pan caught fire after being left unattended.
There were people in the house but nobody was hurt.
There was damage to the cooker, but it did not spread to the kitchen.
The Workington fire crew attended. They extinguished the flames and helped to ventilate the property.
