A WORKINGTON mother and daughter are appearing on BBC television programme Teen Taxi which allows cameras to film their daily life.
Charlie Douglas-Brown and daughter Georgia Douglas-Brown, 18, from Stainburn, appear in episodes three and seven of the 12-part series, which is available on BBC iPlayer as a complete boxset.
The programme sees teenagers from across the UK speaking with their families in honest, daily chats on life, love and everything that they are going through, while they are travelling to college, work, gigs, prom parties, festivals and even to modelling shoots.
A spokesperson for BBC’s Teen Taxi said: “Charlie and Georgia are best friends, they are very close and talk to each other about everything.
“In the programme there are bad dad jokes, shared karaoke moments and shocking candour as well as discussions about boyfriends, girlfriends, moving out, bullying, tattoos and career choices, plus life-changing moments such as collecting exam results.”
Georgia works locally as a teaching assistant and is a youth leader for Theatre Royal Youth at Workington.
Her mother, Charlie, is a lecturer for nursing at Carlisle College.
Georgia’s boyfriend, Joel Indiana, 18, also features in the programme.
