A man who committed assault has been left with a court bill of almost £400.
Michael David Lee, 36, of Millfield Gardens, Keswick, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington.
He faced a single charge of assault, committed in his home town on February 2.
Lee pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before magistrates.
He was fined £280, £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs and a £30 surcharge to help fund victim services, leaving him to pay a total of £395.
