FIRE crews rescued a 71-year-old woman after her car became stuck in flood water on a road in Selby following a burst main.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident at 5.35pm yesterday (February 18).
The woman had been in the car for some time, the fire service said.
Crews provided first aid and reassurance to the woman, the service added.
It said she was suffering from numbness in her legs and was checked over by paramedics.
