Fundraising: Mally Martin
A GREAT Broughton man is organising an evening of entertainment to raise funds for bowel cancer research.
Mally Martin is holding the event at The Sun Dial Inn, Little Broughton, from 8.30pm on Saturday, March 2.
Providing the entertainment will be local men The Unlikely Lads and Barry Hodgson. There will be a bumper raffle, entry is free.
Mally said: "My wife had an operation for bowel cancer in 2016 and she had to go back last year for another little operation.
"We were astounded with the number of people with bowel cancer, including some in our village."
