Neil Philip Stephenson, 42, has recently been living at Carlisle's John Street Hostel for homeless men.

But his address, as given in court papers. is Richmond Road, Workington.

He faces a single charge of burglary.

Prosecutors say he and his co-accused - 54-year-old Steven Robson - committed the offence on Saturday, March 2 in the Carlisle store.

Stephenson, who was represented at Carlisle's Rickergate Magistrates'Court by defence lawyer John Cooper, declined to enter a plea.
