A COCKERMOUTH man was jailed after he breached a restraining order only three days after it was imposed.
Lee Cunningham, 34, of Waste Lane, was sent to prison for 28 days when he appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Friday.
Cunningham admitted that on March 14 he was at a Cockermouth address he was banned from.
The restraining order was imposed by the crown court in Carlisle three days earlier.
Magistrates felt this was to be treated seriously because it happened shortly after Cunningham was released from prison for an assault on the same victim.
The court was also told Cunningham had a record or breaching court orders.
