Emergency services have resumed a search for a missing person off the West Cumbrian coast.
The search was launched between Maryport and Allonby in the early hours of yesterday and continued throughout the day before winding down for the night.
It has now resumed, with police officers, local lifeboat crews and the coastguard involved in the operation.

Workington RNLI's all-weather lifeboat, Dorothy May White, and the Inshore Lifeboat, Maryport Inshore Rescue. Maryport Coastguard Rescue Team,Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team and the coastguard rescue helicopter have all been involved in the search.
