BARROW Society of Artists’ much awaited spring exhibition is staged at Hawcoat Park Sports Club from Friday until Sunday (March 29-31). New chairman Barbara Trescatheric and the society are excited about the switch of exhibition venue to the Hawcoat club and hope the new venture will encourage a greater footfall, and while out of town, there is ample parking and available public transport. As well as Barbara's artwork, there will be paintings and 3D work from more than 30 members. Open Friday and Saturday, from noon-7pm; Sunday, noon-6pm.

The gardens, shop and café are open each day.
