POLICE are looking for a female driver after 12-year-old boy was hit by a car.
The incident happened at about 4.20pm on Friday in Carlisle city centre.
A Cumbria Police spokesman told the News & Star: "We are currently investigating a road traffic collision that occurred outside Bodytek Gym on English Damside, Carlisle on Friday.
"A 12-year-old child sustained injuries.
"The vehicle is said to be small grey or blue.
"The driver, a female in her 50s, has said to have stopped and then left the scene moments after."
