A West Cumbria village road is set to close next week for repair work.
Cumbria Highways is due to begin carriageway repairs on the C4004 Kirkland to Ennerdale road at Ennerdale Bridge on Monday, April 15.
It is anticipated that the route will be shut for three days.
It will be shut from 100m north of its junction with the C4017, with the closure stretching approximately 500m to the north.
A Cumbria County Council spokesman said access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists would be maintained throughout the work.
An alternative route for vehicles will be signed via the unrestricted section of the C4004 at Kirkland, the A5086 Cleator Moor road and the C4017.
