A QUIZ league which takes place in the winter months concluded last week with the winners being crowned.
The pub quiz league which sees more than 10 teams battle to be crowned winner ended with Oddfellows Arms A team winning this year’s league and not for the first time.
Andy Kerr, owner of the Oddfellows Arms, at Bolton Low Houses plays on the A team. He said: “The league was won the week before.
“It was nip and tuck all the way through, we only won by one point.”
The Oddfellows Arms have played in the quiz league for a number of years and have both their A and B teams have won the league before. The winning score this year was 34. Other teams in the league include, two teams from the Throstles Nest, Wigton, Royal Oak, Curthwaite, The Bird in Hand, Oulton, The Albion, Silloth, The Ship, Thursby, The Bush, Kirkbride, Kings Arms, Bowness-on-Solway and the Joiner Newton Arlosh.
