THE new home of a popular West Cumbrian festival has been revealed.
Solfest, which has taken place at Tarns, near Aspatria for the last 15 years, will move to Tarnside's North Lakes Country Park for this year's event, which will be the last one.
A spokesman for the organising committee said: "Our main concern we had when looking for a new venue was to keep it in the same area and of course take advantage of the amazing surroundings, luckily we have found a beautiful site just a few fields away next to the tarn that fits the bill.
"With the confirmation of the new site we are full steam ahead with organising the farewell Solfest and we are confident that it will be a magical and amazing send off for one of the counties favourite festivals."
Tickets are available from www.solfest.org.uk.
