Finding Easter bunny was a rewarding experience for children in Maryport at the weekend.
The town council and Maryport Extended Schools' Partnership joined forces to provide a family fun day which included a hunt for Easter bunnies around the town centre.
A total of 150 Easter eggs were given out to the children who completed the bunny search along with parents and other family members.
Town chairman Peter Kendall said the combination of sun and Easter eggs proved a winner: "Thank you to the town clerks Lisa Douglas and Paul Bramley and to schools partnership coordinator Nicola Woolley. They provided a fantastic day of fun."
As well as the Easter bunny hunt children enjoyed entertainment and the chance to have their faces painted or "tattooed".
The fun day was sponsored by the town council.
