POLICE are investigating a burglary in Derwentwater Close, Millom.
Officers said a thief was disturbed by the occupants between 12:15pm and 12:30pm on May 7.
The thief, who ran-off in the direction of Lowther Road, Millom, is described as white, in his 30s, 5ft 7ins, slim with short blonde hair, wearing a blue shirt and grey trousers, carrying a black fold up shopping bag.
Anyone with information or who has seen the man in the area should call PC 1669 Rogac on 101.
