A Dementia Talk hosted by University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT), will take place on Monday, June 10, at 6pm at The Forum in Barrow.
Dianne Smith, Matron for Professional Standards in Dementia for UHMBT, will give the informative talk and is eager to share the work that the Trust and its partners are doing to improve care for people living with dementia.
Dianne said: “In my talks I will be sharing as much information as possible on the care and support available to people with dementia and their family and friends. If anyone is interested they can sign up and come along. Everyone is welcome.”
Dementia is a collection of symptoms caused by conditions which affect the brain and affects a person’s mental abilities such as memory and thinking.
