A body found on an Isle of Man beach has been identified as a missing Cumbrian man.
The body of 70-year-old Edwin Parsons, who was first reported missing in March, was discovered by a member of the public on a beach in Bride, on the northern tip of the island.
Found on Dog Mills beach on April 10, Mr Parson's body was formally identified by Isle of Man police on Friday.
From the Aspatria area, Mr Parsons was last seen on the morning of March 20 in the village of Gilcrux.
An inquest into Mr Parson's death will begin in Douglas, the island's capital, on Monday.
Mr Parson's family have been informed of his death.
