Cockermouth library
Cockermouth Library will continue to be part of the Safe Places Scheme - where vulnerable people can go for help and support.
Town councillors agreed to continue supporting the scheme, which is run by the police.
Vulnerable people can carry a card with contact details. The library staff can then contact their carers or call the police on their behalf.
"The library in general is something we need to keep supporting," said Councillor Andrew Semple.
