Tom Kerridge promises Pub in the Park has the makings of the ultimate pub garden unlike any other, and this year, the event certainly lived up to his claims.
With delights for foodies, music lovers, and shopaholics alike, Pub in the Park offers something for everyone.
We headed to Higginson Park for the first night of the weekend extravaganza and had a brilliant evening on the opening night of the Pub in the Park 2019 summer tour.
We sampled outstanding food, shopped at artisan stalls and listed to some great music from Jake Bugg, All Saints & The Bluetones.
The food was a real treat, with plates costing £5 and offering a sample of gourmet and signature dishes.
We tried a variety of dishes from the pop up stands including; Minted Lamb Pie with mash and liquor (The Hand & Flowers) Chicken Kiev with cauliflower cheese and parsley emulsion (The Coach) Hog in a Bun with roast pork shoulder, slaw and apple & cider sauce (The Pony & Trap) Chicken Tikka Pie (Sindu) and Monkfish & Squid Croquettes and Crispy Nduja Ravioli (Bibendum).
We could have tried something from every stall however the portions, although small, were very filling.
Although the weather was a bit of a washout on Friday, the event was still popular with a huge number of visitors attending to sample Michelin-starred food, watch demos from their favourite celebrity chefs, dance to their favourite musicians and browse the shopping village.
This well organised festival is not be missed if it returns to Marlow next year.
