A shoplifter has been banned from entering dozens of shops in a town centre.
Gemma Louise Burns, 34, of Razia Court, Workington, pleaded guilty at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Friday to stealing alcohol worth £51 from the Co-op Food store in Cockermouth on May 3 and food worth £40.50 from the same shop on May 20.
A criminal behaviour order made for Burns on March 29 was varied to ban her from entering any premises on the Cockermouth Shop Watch Scheme.
She was also ordered to comply with an eight-week curfew requiring her to be at home between 8pm and 6am and told to pay £45.75 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
