A group of West Cumbrian artists will be taking part in a county-wide art trail and open studios event which starts on Saturday.
West Cumbria Artistic Network members will be showing their work in venues across the area, bringing art to the heart of the community, until June 23.
Their work will be on show in Ireby, Little Broughton, Brigham, Egremont and Keswick.
Maggi Toner-Edgar, one of the directors and founder of the West Cumbria Artistic Network, said: ‘This is a great collaboration. West Cumbria artists work in rural and remote locations, we can provide opportunities to showcase their talent."
The network is part of EVAN, a company founded two years ago which aims to inspire artistic people to get creative and provide the opportunities to showcase their work. Artists meet regularly, take part in events and gain priority access to art opportunities.
