Charge: police were called to an "incident" in Harraby, Carlisle, on Saturday evening
A man has been charged with a serious assault following an "incident" in Carlisle's Harraby area on Saturday.
Cumbria Police today released a statement confirming that the man, who has not been identified, was charged over the weekend with assault causing actual bodily harm.
"Police received a report at approximately 6.30pm on June 15 of the incident," said a spokesman.
"Police responded quickly and effectively to the incident.
"Anybody with any futher information should contact 101 quoting log 225 of June 15, or call Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
