A female pan disability football party is being held in Carlisle to coincide with the Women's World Cup.

It takes place tomorrow from 5pm at Soccerworld on Rome Street, ahead of England's game against Japan.

Carlisle Reivers FC has organised the event, with backing from CP Sport.

Paul Allen, who managers the Carlisle Reivers pan disability football team, said the aim is to break down the barriers that often prevent both females and those with disabilities getting involved in football.

The free event is open to all ages and abilities.

There will be a chance to have a go at some football related games and win prizes.

This will be followed by food and drinks, then the opportunity to watch England take on Japan at 8pm.
