Christopher Sydney Barber was caught with two types of drugs in his system
A motorist caught with two different types of drug in his system has been banned from driving.
Christopher Sydney Barber, 32, of Marks Avenue, Raffles, Carlisle, was caught by police on Christmas eve in The Crescent, in the city centre.
He pleaded guilty to two charges at Carlisle's magistrates' court.
The first was that he had 2.7µg/L of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis) in his blood. The legal limit is 2µg/L.
Barber also had 76µg/L of benzoylecgonine in his blood, when the legal limit is 50µg/L.
He was banned from driving for 24 months and fined £200 for each offence. Barber must also pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
