A ten week curfew has been imposed on a Carlisle man who has admitted stealing an iron worth £39.99.
Anthony George Weaver, 52, admitted stealing the iron from Wilkinsons in the city on June 17 when he appeared before the city's Rickergate Magistrtes' Court.
His curfew will run from 6pm to 6am, except between July 13 and 20, when it will run only until midnight.
The defendant, of Mountain View, Carlisle, just als pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of the same amount.
