A BARROW man has denied 10 counts of shoplifting.
Ian James Riddick, of no fixed abode, is accused of stealing items including Grey Goose vodka, a gammon joint, clothes, a handbag, aftershave, whisky, Ben & Jerry's ice cream and bottles of Coca Cola from various shops including TK Maxx, Debenhams and Heron Foods.
He is also accused of possessing a carrier bag lined with foil to evade store security.
The 39-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on June 27 for a case management hearing.
