A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a carbon monoxide alarm was activated at a home in Workington.
Fire crews were called to Cusack Crescent in Workington just before 8am this morning.
The firefighters used a carbon monoxide detector and two breathing apparatus to check the property and those surrounding it.
Fortunately, no carbon monoxide was detected.
A spokesman from Cumbria Fire and Rescue said that a person was taken to hospital for a check up.
Crews were on the scene for about 50 minutes.
