Heavy rain is heading for the county this weekend, triggering a weather warning for Cumbria and beyond.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the north west and east of England, as well as the lowlands of Scotland, due to heavy rain predicted for the weekend.
In place from 12pm on Saturday until 3pm on Sunday, the Met Office has said: "Heavy rainfall may lead to surface water and flooding in a few places and travel disruption.
"There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings, and a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater.
"Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures."
