A walker had to be helped off the shore of a Cumbrian lake after falling ill.
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team was called at about 10.45pm on Monday to help the group of six, who were walking the coast to coast route.
They were on the south shore of Ennerdale Water but one of the party had become unwell and was unable to continue.
A spokesman for Cockermouth MRT said: "We carried her by stretcher to the waiting team Sprinter at the west end of the lake.
"From there we took her to West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven."
In total nine team members were involved.
