Scarecrow
The Greenhead Scarecrow Trail is right around the corner in what promises to be an exciting week for the area.
The annual event will see incredible scarecrow creations dotted around the village on a winding walking trail.
The trail will run from Blenkinsopp Castle Inn to Long Byre Golf Club.
There will also be a raffle and an art exhibition in St Cuthbert’s Church during the event.
It runs from August 17 to 26.
