Three people have been charged following an incident in Workington town centre.
Two men and a woman were arrested following the incident yesterday at around 4pm.
Mark Whitehead, 32, of Senhouse Street, Workington, has been charged with obstructing a police officer. He is due to appear before Workington’s magistrates’ court on August 23.
Kelly Anne Smyth, 34, of no fixed address, has been charged with obstructing a police officer and assault on an emergency worker. She is due to appear before Workington’s magistrates’ court on the August 27.
Jack Nicholson, 26, of Fountains Avenue, Workington, has been charged with, section 4A public order, obstructing a police officer, assault on an emergency worker and violent behaviour at a police station. He is due to appear before Workington’s magistrates’ court on August 23.
