A man is set to stand trial for alleged child sex offences.
Mohammed Alamgir Alam, 44, of Main Street, Ellenborough, Maryport, appeared before magistrates in Workington on Friday charged with six counts of sexual offences, five of which were against children.
The court heard the alleged offences took place between December 1, 2017 and March 7 last year.
Alam was granted unconditional bail and is set to appear again at Carlisle Crown Court on August 23.
