A charity clay pigeon shoot is set to take place on August 18 in memory of a Dearham Gun Club founder.
The Mike Charlesworth Memorial Trophy Shoot is held at Dearham Gun Club to memorialise one of the club's founders. The event takes place on August 18 with 40 sporting and 10 bird pool shoots.
Mike's son Neil organises the event along with Frank Barton and Tom Robinson. Mr Barton founded Dearham Gun Club along with Mr Charlesworth. Mr Robinson said: "We donate to local charities, this year it is the Great North Air Ambulance and the Stroke Association."
First entry is 9.30am and last entry is one o'clock. Refreshments and prizes will be given on the day. The cost of the 40 bird sporting is £15 with a £12 re-entry fee.
