Police are at scene of incident on A591
A MAN has been arrested following a police pursuit.
Police were called at 9.35am today to a report of the theft of a van from Dalton Road, Barrow.
Enquiries were carried out, resulting in a police pursuit of the vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped at 10.19am near the Brettargh Holt roundabout.
A man, 45, was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and failing to stop for police. He remains in custody.
Traffic delays were reported in the area at the time.
