Pirelli helped workers at its Carlisle plant celebrate their 40 years’ service recently.

To mark the occasion, the firm put on a special dinner at the Crown Hotel in Wetheral for the employees and presented them with long service awards.

Brian Allen, Gary Andrews, Michael Armstrong, Ian Black, Colin Connelly, Roy Davidson, Gary Renucci, Kurt Rose, Ian Scott, Jez Sewell, and David Wilson attended the event to mark their 40 years, which was also attended by workers celebrating other long service awards.

Alfred Milburn and Richard Tinning were unable to attend, but they also completed 40 years at Pirelli this year.

Dominic Sandivasci, Pirelli UK chairman and CEO, said: “It’s always a pleasure to host these dinners, which recognise significant milestones reached by those who have dedicated a major part of their lives to working at Pirelli. Congratulations to all those who received long service awards this time around and I’m sure we’ll be seeing many more in the future!”
