One of Maryport's grandest buildings will be converted into a gallery of arts and crafts this month.
St Mary's Church on Netherhall corner is holding a three day which will include two demonstrations at 11am and 2pm daily and will feature a huge variety of the craft skills to be found in this area.
West House will show work from its pottery group and plants from its Allerby gardens. West Gro.
The Brown House quilters, led by internationally renowned quilter and author Celia Eddy.
Of special interest, too, will be the Mandala crochet and other wool craft.
The exhibition will include photography, wall art, pyrography (creating art by burning wood).
The Reflections group, which supports people living with dementia. will display their Twiddlemuffs and children's clothing.
There will also be a raffle, chocolate Tombola and gifts to buy.
There will also be homemade preserves on sale and homemade refreshments to enjoy.
The exhibition will run from 10am to 4.30 am on Saturday and Monday August 24 and 26 and from 10.30am to 4.30on the Sunday.
