FUTURE music stars will shine bright this Sunday in Ennerdale Brewery’s open mic night.

The Brewery Tap, Ennerdale Brewery’s restaurant ,hosts an open mic music night on the last Sunday of each month, this time falling on August 25.

Open mic nights take place from 5pm until 9pm with food and craft ales available throughout.

Performers who have taken to the stage in the past include local favourite Nat Dempsey as well as music circuit stalwart Keith Robinson, Willow Jarvis and Jade Richardson.

Nat is a musician and songwriter who is making a name for himself with prolific gigs around the local live music scene.

Willow Jarvis, who has recently released her latest single has also previously taken to the Brewery Tap stage. She has recently received air time for her single Honest on BBC Radio Cumbria.

It is not just singer-songwriters who can perform – anyone with a talent for poetry and spoken word, rap or beatboxing can take to the stage. And every performer at the music evenings is given a free pint of the brewery’s ale for getting on stage.

Mr Robinson has been performing and arranging his own music events since the 1970s.

Lucy Addison of the Brewery noted that bigger crowds are being drawn to the Brewery Tap with the live music night every month.
