SINGER Ellie Goulding has married the art dealer grandson of Michael Jopling, former MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale.
Caspar Jopling, 27, is the son of Nicholas Jopling. His uncle is art gallerist Jay Jopling.
Lord Jopling, 88, was elected Conservative MP for Westmorland in 1964. The North Yorkshire farmer served as agriculture minister and chief whip under Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher during his 33 years as MP. He stepped down in 1997.
Guests at Saturday's wedding at York Minster included singer Katy Perry with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom; actress Sienna Miller; singer James Blunt; artist Tracey Emin; Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice and their mother, Sarah Ferguson; and comedian Jimmy Carr.
The bride, 32, wore a bespoke Chloe wedding gown and veil. She arrived for the ceremony in a blue VW campervan.
