AN Ulverston man has been told to pay almost £400 after driving while under the influence of cannabis.
Owen Paul Wight, of Holyoake Terrace, pleaded guilty when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old admitted driving a BMW in Watery Lane on March 29 when the proportion of a cannabis metabolite was above the specified limit.
Wight was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £284.
He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
The total came to £399.
