Police are investigating after an out of control dog bit a woman in Maryport.
The incident happened on Main Road, Ellenborough, on Monday where a woman in her late 20s suffered minor injuries after being bitten by a dangerous dog.
A police spokesman said they were looking for witnesses for the incident which occurred at around 3.45pm.
The dog is described as looking like a Staffordshire bull terrier cross.
