"Considerable damage" was caused to a house after a firework flew into the roof.
Officers are investigating after reports that it may have been fired deliberately at the home on Brookside in the Raffles area of Carlisle, at some point between 12am and 2.30am yesterday (October 28).
Police say considerable damage was caused to the property.
The force is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious around this time or may have information to contact PC 2645 on 101.
