A Cockermouth man, who admitted drink-driving, has been banned from the roads for 20 months.
Finlay Jacob Dougal Grove, 20, of Ashgrove, was also ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work when he appeared before Workington magistrates.
The court heard Grove was driving a Fiat Panda on July 21 on the B5292 at Cockermouth, when the offence occurred.
He was found to have 87mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Grove, who pleaded guilty, must also pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
His ban could be reduced by 20 weeks if he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course.
