A BUDDING DJ has been given his big radio break – and will debut his talent with 3.5 million listeners next week.
Jonny Donat confirmed that he has been given a slot on international radio station, Data Transmission.
The Workington man will begin his residency next Thursday from 11am to 1pm, continuing to DJ on the second Thursday of every month.
Data Transmissions showcases the work of DJs from across the globe, covering genres from disco and techno to “chilled”, and the owner of Workington’s Electric Soup nightclub is over the moon with his slot.
“I am absolutely buzzing to be able to have this opportunity,” Jonny said. “I’m finding loads of unreal music I want to share with everyone, and it’s an absolute privilege to have a platform to share it and air music I love!
“Massive thanks to everyone for all the continued support.”
Jonny’s first show will feature his own mixtape, as well as a mix of his DJ friends’.
