A small fire was tackled at a primary school in Workington earlier this afternoon.
A spokesman for Workington Fire Station confirmed a rescue team visited Ashfield Junior School at approximately 1.30pm to extinguish the fire, which took place in the boys' toilets of the Year 5 area.
All pupils and teachers were evacuated safely with no injuries.
A spokesman for Workington Fire Station said: "The fire didn't take too long to put out – only around 10 minutes.
"We had two pumps – one from Whitehaven and one from Workington."
Firefighters were at the school for around 45 minutes.
